Change can happen at a core level and this core change can happen for you.
You already have all of the resources that you need within you to make the changes that are necessary for a full and satisfying life.
And perhaps most importantly, you don't have to do it alone. Working with me gives you both the tools and a viable way to access and use
those inner resources to transform your life. I can help you go from where you are to where you want to be.
Therapy may benefit you if you:
◊ Feel gripped by painful emotions
◊ Are tense and anxious much of the time
◊ Know that your marriage or relationship is in trouble
◊ Are in a major life or career transition
◊ Are having difficulty coping with loss
◊ Have unresolved trauma from the past
◊ Feel alone and misunderstood
◊ Are bound by an addiction or obsession
◊ Are procrastinating and avoiding tasks and responsibilities
◊ Want to feel better about yourself and your life
◊ Feel stuck and don't know how to move forward
◊ Want and need support through a challenging passage
Add life to your years!
If any of the above challenges apply to you, perhaps I can help. Many of us feel a gap between our true potential and our everyday experiences.
Since I first began counseling 20 years ago, I have been equipping teens, adults, couples and families with tools to close the gap. This helps transform
stress into strength
and pressure into performance.
The feedback that I frequently get is that I am compassionate and able to put people at ease so they feel comfortable sharing their life challenges.
I also am practical and am interested in supporting people in releasing blocks to fulfillment.
I have a Doctorate degree in Naturopathy and a Master's degree in Psychology and began my career in the inner city of Chicago.
While going to school, I continued to volunteer, working with teens, adults and couples affected by addiction, helping them
to recover. Whether I am doing volunteer work or in private practice, my aim is for my clients to feel actively supported and understood as well as
deeply respected.
If you are curious about how I work, please contact me and we can discuss how I can be helpful to you.
The following video clip of Stand by Me is one of my favorites. In the introduction, the first musician says,
"No matter who you are, no matter where you go in your life, at some point you're going to need somebody to stand by you."
If you have found this site at one of these junctures in your life, perhaps I can help.
